The Immigrants Assistance Center (IAC) provides Citizenship Preparation assistance and support to immigrants. We also provide Native Language Citizenship classes, in Portuguese and Cape Verdean Creole, to the elderly population that meet the criteria to apply in their native language.
The IAC is Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) Accredited.
We provide our Citizenship Support services to immigrants that meet the eligibility criteria and provide Immigration & Information sessions at the local high schools to help inform immigrant students about citizenship, civic involvement and the consequences of deportation. The IAC also provides intensive case management to immigrant youth at-risk and their families or guardians.
